Separate Sealed Bids for the Construction of a 500 GPM Water Well on Derby - White

Sand Road will be received by Pearl River Central Water Association, Inc. herein called the

“Owner” at their office located at 17 White Chapel Road, Carriere, Mississippi 39426 until

10 a.m. local time on April 21, 2023 and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.

The PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS and CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined at the

following locations:

1. Pearl River Central Water Association, Inc.

2. O’Neal-Bond Engineering, Inc., 312 Mill Ave., Wiggins, MS 39577

Copies of plans, together with the contract documents and specifications, may be purchased at the Office

of O’Neal-Bond Engineering, Inc., 312 Mill Ave., Wiggins, MS 39577 upon the payment of $150 for

each set, none of which is refundable.

Award, if made, will be made for the lowest and best bidder. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or

all Bids. The owner further reserves the right to reject the Bid of any Bidder if Owner believes it would

not be in the interest of the Project to make an award to that Bidder. The Owner also reserves the right to

waive all formalities not involving price, time, or changes in the Work and to negotiate contract terms

with the Successful Bidder.

Each Bidder, by submitting a bid, represents that he has visited the site and familiarized himself with

local conditions under which the work is to be performed. No allowance will be made to any Bidder

because of lack of examination of the proposed Plans and Specifications, this Advertisement to Bid, the

site of the work, or for lack of knowledge of any conditions affecting the Work. The submission of a

proposal shall be construed as conclusive evidence that the Bidder has made such examinations.
